Still own my Z7 after about 4 or 5 years and love it even though I also own the Z8. The Z 7 is great for a lot of situations because it is smaller ,lighter has great image quality ,maybe slightly better at some lower ISO levels than the Z8, and for most things I do the autofocus is no problem. So why do I own a Z8? well it's like why do people enjoy a sports car when we can get by fine with a regular car, makes life more fun if you can afford it and now that I am older I fortunetly can , and of course when I do birds in flight tracking or if I decide to do some high performance video it would be the way to go.

I am sick of videos stating is this or that camera still good in year 2xxx. Of course it is. Any camera that was good in its day and gave you the images you loved is still good years later.

I do not use Nikon, but I think that Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z7 II are the best Nikon cameras you can get.

If I get a camera it’s because I want a …camera. If I gave a crap about video, I’d get a real deal video camera instead.

The bottom plate is a very good idea. The most vulnerable spot on that body is the back on the bottom left, where the screen actually sticks out further than the body. I smashed the screen on my Z6, and immediately put an L-bracket on my Z7. I think they are tough cameras, but that spot on the back is vulnerable. You don't want to know what Nikon wants for a new screen!

I still kept mine after all these years. it is still very good for sport and wild life. I just have 3 lens 18-200/200-500/35mm f1.8 Only draw back is it is so heavy so I don't dare use it for traveling. Sensor is still really good for low light.

Yeah i hate single card camera, also as an owner myself, i found its AF system is really really outdated even when it first introduce, it was even worse than the D850, way behind any Sony camera in the market, tracking is really a joke

Being a none stacked sensor , it has better DR than Z8 / Z9. It can be a small but potent landscape/static portrait camera, affordable as well , maybe I'll get one if I find a good deal on Mk1.

It's the togger and their skills that make a good photograph. It's never the camera. If you know your stuff you can make a box brownie shine.

I have been considering making a video like this about the Z7ii. The value for both of these cameras is insane for the image quality you get!

Hey Michael, I own a Z9 but I still have my Z7. If I want a lighter cary with a couple of lenses to shoot the streets, it is perfect. I have no issues with focus day or night and the image quality is great.

There are certain things that the D500 excels at. Sports and wildlife are essentially what it was designed for. It will do everything from portraits to landscapes, but not as well as a full frame camera, nor will it perform the same as a portrait, focused camera. The focus array on the sensor is the same from the Nikon D5. When dealing with fast movement is where this camera really shines. This camera is also nearly 10 years old, so comparing it to a mirrorless ss cameraisn’t exactly a close comparison.

My Dyson only flashes 10 times is it still battery unit fault ?

I have the same problem and I’ve got a 750w gold psu.

I’ve already wasted a lot of time on trying to update my camera firmware, including 45 minutes in the camera store with them trying to do the update . You saved me from resetting my camera and trying the firmware update again. Thank you! I now know in future to look for ‘A’ version!

I did the same as Micheal did and spent 2 hours piss farting around and when I eventually found the right support page, there isn't a bloody firmware update anyway!!!!! Not happy Jan!

These tires are JUNK folks...!!! I have a 2020 Kia Sorento SX AWD and these are VERY noisy tires in town driving and even on the highway. I think mine are already cupping and they aren't that old either. I immediately replaced them with Pirelli Scorpion AS+3 and the difference is night and day. Much quieter smoother ride and better traction in wet and snow. Hyundai and Kia make good vehicles but they cheap out on tires. So yourselves a favor and get a good set of rubber for your good vehicle.

The website is not showing any updates for a7r3a. What is the latest version for a7r3a? Maybe the a7r3a veraion 1 is equivalent to a7r3 v3.1?

Boy the colors look bad on aps-c and terrible on M4T. Makes me wanna buy a full frame. But I am pretty sure you have used color noise reduction on lightroom. It would had been better if you had not. Also I wonder how much noise a full frame has on ISO 100. I was hoping to find out on this video.

Lens for RF series are absolutely amazing. I don’t want to come back to EF series even more!

Lightroom keeps crashing when I try to use the masking. I deleted light room reinstall and still the same thing. When it crashes it doesn’t save my work. I’m over it.

I've had 3, bought one back in 2005, given me the best family photos ever to treasure. I've used Many more modern Canon versions but as the Classic does, it draws you back. Canon were worried about digital from film, this camera was designed to be a steady transition, its perfect in my opinion...however I personally would say its the close up work that shows the magic, portraits, pets, objects with shallow depth of field. To see the magic go for colours and see how it becomes a cinematic legend. You can keep your modern versions, Nikon have never produced anything close.
